Stedten is a village of about 600 inhabitants, in the township of Kranichfeld, an old smaall town in SW Weimar country district, Thuringia. Stedten lies at the edge of forest. In a circle of 3 miles you find a reservoir lake (bathing resort, boating), some castles, a karst cave and a lot of hiking tracks. In a circle of 15 miles you can explore some old cities theatres, museums and shopping malls: Erfurt, Rudolstadt, Weimar and Arnstadt. More about: click here
